Retrofit Locks

Retrofit locks are cylinders that go into larger locking devices or 3rd party locks. Many devices that feature locks can be retrofit with high security cylinders. Retrofit locks include rim/mortise cylinders, interchangeable core (figure 8 and similar) style cylinders, t-handle locks frequently found in vending machines, and finally key in knob or KIK cylinders found in a wide variety of hardware, especially in North America. Retrofit locks generally do not replace the entire locking device, only part of it.
